A volunteer-run heritage railway built on the trackbed of the former Northampton to Market Harborough line. The railway provides steam and diesel hauled trips through the Brampton Valley, adjacent to the Brampton Valley Way.
Brampton Valley Heritage
Restored from dereliction in the 1980s, the Northampton & Lamport Railway preserves a section of the vital Victorian artery that once linked the Midlands with the North. It is a rare example of a railway successfully co-existing with a long-distance cycling and walking trail on the same corridor.
