The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds is Britain's oldest museum, and its national museum of arms and armour. Home to the national collection of arms and armour, the museum displays thousands of objects across several themed galleries. Opened in 1996, the striking modern building houses exhibits spanning 3,000 years of arms and armour from around the world, including the finest collections of arms and armour from medieval Europe and the Orient. The museum offers daily live demonstrations, interactive displays, and special exhibitions.
