A unique two-mile narrow-gauge line that runs from Fairbourne village to the Barmouth Ferry. Originally a 2ft gauge horse tramway from 1895, it was converted to a 15-inch gauge miniature railway in 1916 and later narrowed to 12.25 inches. It's famous for its half-scale replicas of famous locomotives and its stunning coastal views across the Mawddach Estuary.
