Roundhay Park

Roundhay Park is one of the biggest city parks in Europe, covering more than 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland and gardens. Purchased by Leeds City Council in 1871, it was one of the first public parks in Britain. The park features two lakes - Waterloo Lake and Upper Lake - beautiful gardens including the Canal Gardens and Monet Garden, as well as Tropical World, which houses exotic plants and animals. Popular for walking, cycling, and outdoor events, the park hosts major concerts and festivals throughout the year.
